In each person’s life there are different events both good and bad. And sometimes you have to make a lot of effort to restore a strong spirit after what happened and to stand on your feet – sometimes even in a literal sense. Today we will tell the story of Gaidar Davronov from Uzbekistan, who decided to improve his life’s quality and went for treatment to the Czech Republic.
WHAT PROBLEM YOU WERE FACING AND WHY YOU DECIDED TO REFER TO A FOREIGN CLINIC?
My right knee hurt a lot. I was diagnosed with arthritis of the knee joint and was recommended surgery to replace it with a prosthesis. In Uzbekistan, such operations are only starting and doctors don’t have much experience that is why I thought about operations in Europe. My choice finally stopped on the Motol University Hospital.
Gaidar Davronov arrived at Motol University Hospital with serious intentions – to install a knee prosthesis. Such an operation is successfully carried out in leading clinics of the world using modern technologies that allows patients to quickly recover to normal life. For the patient, treatment was organized with the Professor Tomáš Trč who is the head of the Orthopedics and Arthroplasty Department of the Motol Clinic.

Arrival at the clinic, prosthetics from an experienced professor, rehabilitation period of only two weeks – and the patient left the Motol clinic on his feet while taking slight support with cane! No problems in the postoperative period and the absence of the need for a long-term recovery – this is exactly why foreigners go to foreign hospitals.
